9/21/09.....what a week

I'm sure you've noticed that I haven't exactly posted anything for the past 3 days. Well heres the long, amazingly good, turned horrific story:

When I went out on Saturday to get supplies, all was good. The sun was burning bright, it was about 90 degrees out, and there was nothing abnormal. A good, zombie-free day. I first went to the supermarket across the highway from my house. There were no cars to watch for. Unluckily, the place was completely boarded up and I really did not have the energy to get past the wood. I grabbed a metal shopping cart and moved on.

I walked over to the local 7/11 and shattered the door open with a metal rod I found on the way. There was an eerieness as I walked in. No sound. No one. Nothing. I creeped over to the isle with all the individually wrapped foods. There, I shoved all that I could into two paper bags and put them in my cart. What a crappy shopping spree! I just put everything that I could in my cart. I told myself to screw the papers bags and pushed whole shelves into the cart. I then went to the candy isle for a few treats. I decided not to take all the candy or go to other isles. I may need to come back if help doesn't come soon. Before leaving, I took a couple magazines to keep myself from going crazy.

After my eerie experience, I briskly walked over to my makeshift basement fort and dropped off the supplies. I didn't think that I would get that over with so quickly. It was still light out. So I decided to go look for other people. I went to some houses, saw blood drops, and ran out horrified. I then came to a big white house on the end of my block.

The house has always been big, but today it seemed HUGE to me. Guess you never see true beauty till your forced to. The people that lived in the house had always been kinda creepy and stayed to themselves. I easily kicked down the door and went in. There were cobwebs and a bunch of dust everywhere. It was worse than my fort. I went upstairs to find nothing. I went downstairs to find something.

THERE THEY WERE!!!!

I guess I never wondered where the "things" went during the day......well I've found out. At first I stood trapped in fear. They weren't coming after me. They didn't see me. They were in a deep coma like sleep. Thats when I booked it out of there. I ran. And ran. AND RAN. Thank gosh I did cross country.

You're probably wondering why it took me 2 extra days to write back if you're even out there. Well, there's more.......to be told tomorrow!
