Phil today finally decided to something with me. He said that we were going Zombie-hunting today. He said that he knew about the zombie breeding / sleeping grounds that I had previously discovered. He wanted to go there and burn it. We needed to kill the creatures while they were at rest. Fighting the awake ones would be too hard. He's a baby. I want to kill them all. Then go over and kill those terrorists.
We went to the house with 2 canisters of gasoline and some lighters and 2 water guns. He told me that there are 2 things that easily kill the beasts : gunshots to the head and fire. He took 2 lighters and taped them each to the front of each water gun. He then filled them with a canister of gasoline.
HOLLY CRAP FLAMETHROWERS!!!
He threw me one and I took it. He told me to stay out and let him go in first. He doused the breeding room with the other canister of gasoline then came back out. He told me that he was going to throw in a match and then we would flame anything that made it out. Easy enough.
He threw in the match and the place went up in a bang. I could feel the heat from 20 feet away from the house. It was amazing. We heard screeches of animals. It was horrific. The sounds were unforgettable.
Everything was going well until we heard some tapping on the windows. Then the glass started to crack un til the window was at its breaking point and just shattered. A bloody zombie dog with a huge cut on its back came out and charged for me. I tried to shoot but I didn't have time to react. Phil shot at the last moment. He did't kill the animal but it ran away.
"Nice, dumbass" he said.
I said nothing back. I was about to say something but another thing came out the window. It was a human female. It limbed towards Phil and screeched at him. It opened its jaws and pounced. I shot it first. It lit on fire and screamed. It tried to crawl at Phil again, but he just flamed it again. It sprawled all over and made exotic noises until finally it gave up.
We walked home drenched in sweat. It was a day I won't soon forget. He said most of our days now will consist of killing these creatures until we can from an army of survivors. He said tomorrow will also be a joy.
